Translation of Love by Alice Montalvo-Tribue

Synopsis from Goodreads.com:

Ellie Brooks has spent the past two years of her life building barriers around herself that are guaranteed to keep people out and her demons in. She doesn't want to get close to anyone for fear of being hurt again. When she meets Latin superstar Victor Garza, she is shocked at how quickly he is able to penetrate her armor. She doesn't want to let him in but can't deny the chemistry they have. He has the potential to heal her wounds and open her heart but she isn't sure she can let him. Will love be enough to keep them together or will Ellie's past prove to be too much for the pair to overcome?

My review: 4 stars
This is a great book. Victor is a HOT, Sexy, Latin rock star who wants to have a normal life. You fall in love with him right away. You know Elle has been hurt & you just keep hoping she will get past all the pain from her past and learn to live again. It's true that it is a lot like other books in that it is a story about a guy and a girl falling in love but it is still a great read & I enjoyed it. Hot, sexy, & full of love, with the struggles of overcoming a bad past. Also even though Victor is a singer it is not like all the other music based books where the rock star knows he is great and thinks everyone should love him just for that and that is what made me like this story.  It was simple and easy to follow and had those OMG moments and a few “What the heck” moments.  Over all it was just a great read and I recommend it to anyone who wants a great love story and a hot, sweet, Latin guy to drool over for awhile. I can't wait to see what is in store with the next book. It has my mind wondering about all sorts of things that could happen.
