Love Thy Neighbour by Belle Aurora

***Second book in the Friend-Zoned series***

Asher 'Ghost' Collins and Natalie Kovac shared a passionate night together. One neither of them can forget.

Why is it so hard for them to be around each other?

With no hope of the two getting along they decide to go their separate ways. And somehow end up closer than they've ever been.

Will friendship ever be enough for the pair?

My review: 4 stars
This is the second book in the Friend-Zoned Series. The first book was titled Friend-Zone. If you read my review you know I loved it. So I naturally had to read this one. At the beginning I have to admit I was a little disappointed. Honestly I thought to myself did I open the wrong book on my kindle? No, no that's not it because they are at The White Rabbit and that is the club Nik owns. It actually read like someone else had wrote it and not my beloved Belle Aurora. No other way to put it but it was a little boring and just a bunch of repeating and I felt I was reading the same thing over and over. Then, about 5% in I get a BIG RELIEF! My Belle is back!!!! YES!!! WOO HOO happy dance time. It turns around and it is a wonderful story. It has all the guys and gals from Friend-Zoned in it that I loved so much and they are like one big family. I am once again pulled in to the family and feeling happy about the book. I laugh. I smile. I want to punch Ash! I want to punch Nat! I want to hug them both and then I cry, then laugh some more, then cry again. I love the relationship with Nat and her sisters. It reminds me of my sister and I. It was nice to bring a little on Nat's family in for a short bit. I love that she introduced you to a group of people in the first book that you just fell in love with and then with this book she tells you a little more about each of them but picks two to surround you with and I love Nat.

So, bare with the first few pages because once you get past that it is a really good story. At the end I thought back and decided that all though I thought it was boring and slow it kind of goes with the mood of Nat and knowing her a little better from this book it worked. I can't wait for the next book where I will get to learn more about my other favorite character the big teddy bear Max.

Here is a little something that I got from Belle's facebook page. No need to thank me just head to her page and show her how much you like this by liking her page and buying her books would be nice too.
isn't he yummy? I believe his name is Zack Dudley

Now you know what I think about "Love Thy Neighbor" so head over to Amazon and one-click it!

Book Feature: Every Rose by Lynetta Halat

Book: Every Rose
Author: Lynetta Halat

What do you do when you realize you were foolish enough to throw away true, unconditional love?
Lorraina Dabney turns her back on her creativity and tumultuous upbringing to embark on a college career that will lead her to law school and to becoming what she values most in life—a controlled, powerful, respected woman. When she stumbles upon her childhood friend's artwork, she feels inspired to reconnect with him and her former self.  This onslaught of emotion will send Lorraina into a tale-spin to figure out exactly why she abandoned all that she was, all that she could've been.

Coming from his own chaotic upbringing, Michael falls quickly and deeply in love with Lorraina at a tender age. Even her rejection can't stand in the way of his obsession. When she starts to date other boys, however, Michael finally relents, causing him to spiral further into a world filled with violence, drugs, alcohol, and women. Realizing his lifestyle will only lead to his further estrangement from Lorraina, Michael sets about to turn himself around before going to get his girl.
Michael Bang will have Lorraina questioning everything.

Some of you may know that I have already reviewed this book before. If you want to read that review you can find it HERE.  This book is so wonderful and touching that it is worth reading twice (ok so I have actually read it like 5 times) and so it is also worth review twice. Besides have you heard that Lynetta Halat has updated it with bonus materials including an epilogue? Yes she has! She made this great book EVEN BETTER! What's that? You already bought it without the update. That's ok because she is such an amazing lady that readers who already own a copy can update their version on Amazon and Smashwords. Anyone who is unable to do this will be able to read it on her web page for FREE! Yep ain't that sweet of her.

Ok, so now that you have that little bit of happy news let me tell you what I thought about Every Rose and the updates. I will try to keep it short and not spoil anything. Y'all know how I hate even the little spoilers but I will give you a warning. Yep this book really should have a big warning label on it that  says......

This is a sweet love story and right from the start you love Michael and you are hoping he gets what he wants. What does he want? Well, he wants the girl. Just like in all love stories boy meets girl, boy wants girl, girl goes off to college in another state. What no the girl shouldn't leave! How can you do that to me Lynetta Halat? Oh wait she wants to reconnect with him? Ok so far everything I have said is in the synopsis. Now, the story has love and I was kind enough to give you a warning that I didn't get to have your tissue ready. There are also some laughs and some AWWW Michael is so sweet **SWOON** moment and then the What the heck moments. It is a roller coaster of emotions that you better just grab hold and hang on tight because it is going to reach out and grab a hold of you and it just might never let you go again. It wasn't just a great read or a wonderful read or even an amazing read. It was all of those and it also made me think, feel, and remember. It touched me so much and reminded me of that first real love I had. Not so much the one that got away but just wasn't good and I learned from it and went on to  find the one true love that I have been married to for almost 18 years now. It also made me thing about all the things I have and how fortunate I am that I have these things. It made me feel blessed to have the people that have come into my life whether they have stayed or gone. The thing I think I like the best besides it being a great story is that it reminds me to be thankful for everyone and everything I have and that everything happens for a reason. We may not know what that reason is as it is happening but later we can think back and say "such and such experience is going to help me get through this" or "that relationship taught me how to be a friend or lover".

No matter how many times I read this book I always seem to pick something else up from it. It has truly touched me to my soul and I want to be like Michael. So if you want a wonder story that will having you laughing, loving, crying, and thinking then this is the book for you. I have talked to several people about it and I have yet to find anyone who has anything bad to say about it. The new bonus material did have me wanting to reach in the book and grab Michael and shake him a little but he pulled him self together. It also gives a little more meaning to how he feels about Lorraina and him self. The epilogue is great and although I was crying in it I was feeling rather happy at the end. So, with that all being said you REALLY NEED TO GO BUY THIS BOOK. I know you will not be disappointed and you will love it. If you have read Every Rose let me know what you think and comment below. Let Lynetta know what you think and leave a review for her where ever you bought it and on Goodreads.

If I had to rate this book on a scale of 1 to 5 (1 being bad and 5 being good) I would give it a 5x100,000 Yep it's FANTASTICALLY AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!

Author Bio:
For as long as she can remember, Lynetta Halat has lived to read and has written countless stories and plays since she was a young girl. Breaking the Rules by H.B. Heinzer Cover Reveal

Release date: August 1st
Author: H.B. Heinzer

Growing up in small town Wisconsin, Carly Turner couldn't wait to escape when she graduated high school. Now, she's living the life in New York City, even if she isn't seeing her name in lights like she used to dream about at night. She's living paycheck-to-paycheck, working behind the scenes in small theaters off Broadway. When there's an equipment malfunction the week before opening night, Carly makes a call that winds up changing everything.

Life in the city isn't all it's cracked up to be. While she feels like she's getting closer to making the move from behind the scenes to center stage, she misses being surrounded by people who understand the quirks that come from living in a town of five thousand people. That, and the fact that he's sexy as sin, make Adam everything she feels like she's missing.

The only problem? He's her best friend's kid brother...

Adam Sanders wants to settle down, find a good woman and start a family like he sees so many of his friends doing. But how is he supposed to meet Ms. Right when he's constantly on the road for work? When he's sent to New York to handle a repair that would typically be contracted out as a favor to his boss, he's just about to his breaking point.

Everything changes when the stagehand sent to open the theater for him is none other than his big sister's childhood friend. The same girl he lusted after as a teenager. Could this be fate's way of showing him that he was looking in the wrong place for love?

As Adam and Carly's friendship develops, lines will be crossed and rules will be broken. Will they be able to come out the other side without destroying everything they had back in Brooklyn?

"Hello?" A deep voice resonated from backstage. The way the timbre of the man’s voice echoed off the acoustic panels in the empty theater sent a shiver down Carly’s spine. She was surrounded daily by men whose voices could melt butter, but there was something about this particular voice that heightened her senses.
"Out here," she shouted, still wrestling to pull the set piece out of the curtain without causing any damage Dax would make her fix later. She blew a stray hair away from her eyes as the lighting contractor rounded the corner.
When she looked up, she did a double-take. The broad shoulders and angled jaw were all new but there was no mistaking the icy blue eyes looking down at her.  They were the same eyes she had seen nearly every day of her childhood. "Adam?"
"Carly Turner? What are the odds..."
When she had moved away from home, Adam Sanders had been a bit gangly and not nearly this tall. She figured he would have grown up to be the man a woman grew to love for his heart despite his awkward appearance. The fact that it looked like he wasn’t opposed to spending time in the gym and he had lost the child-like face did nothing to settle her nerves. Carly shook the thoughts out of her head. This was Adam, the boy who had been the little brother Carly never had. Even if she had never felt that familial bond with him, there was definitely a rule about drooling over your best friend's little brother.
"Well, I think they're probably long enough that there's no point in buying a lottery ticket tonight," Oh god, did I just compare seeing Adam to winning the lottery?

Author Bio:

With the exception of three years spent in the middle of Nebraska, H.B. Heinzer has called southern Wisconsin home. During that time in Nebraska, she imagined one of her favorite authors living on the far western edge of the county, just south of the highway. At the time, becoming a novelist was a distant dream for her. Now, she is the author living in that location. Ironically, she later found out that same favorite author lives just outside the town HB lived in for the first eighteen years of her life.
Now, HB lives in the middle of nowhere but still close enough to the city to not feel isolated. It's the perfect place to let her two kids run and explore their huge yard, teach them about the food chain as they prepare their first-ever garden and debate building a chicken coop. It's one of those dreams that is only possible thanks to the amazing opportunities that have come through writing.

“Claire is your ex-wife?” I asked innocently.“Yes.” He chuckled. “I’m sure you have googled her already.”“No, I'm not some crazy woman.” I lied, forcing out a laugh. Unfortunately, my voice came out way higher than I’d have liked. “Besides, why would I Google a professor’s ex-wife?” God I'm such a moron. He laughed again.“Anyway, I better go, I just wanted to say hello. And to reassure you I'm not a psycho.”“You probably think I'm the psycho now.” I moaned, shaking my head. I was going to kill Tom.“You’re not a psycho.” He chuckled. “I think it’s cute. And Emma?”“Yeah?” I squeezed my eyes shut, sure his next comment was going to be another dig.“I like that you have a crush on me.” I groaned again, as his laughter filled my ears. He thought I was cute. Cute was a monkey in a fur coat running around Ikea. I didn't want to be cute. And I was no closer to finding out about him and Claire. He chuckled again before hanging up. I saw Tom peer around the corner.“Come here you bastard!” I growled, stalking toward him.

***Content Warning - This is a new adult fiction with mature themes. It contains graphic sexual situations, mature language and explicit description of sexual violence.***

Paige Stone lived anything but a normal childhood. Having been raised around an abused women's shelter operated by her parents, Paige was a constant witness to the tragedy and heartache suffered by women at the hands of the men they trusted. Out of refusal to ever allow that to happen to her,... Paige built walls around her heart at a young age. Those walls were only fortified when tragedy struck on her sixth birthday and took from her the only friend and love she knew. Now at 22 years old, and working as a private investigator, Paige is driven by a deep need for strength, independence and a stubborn refusal to accept help from another person. Surrounding herself with her three best friends, Paige never assumed that the autonomy she had worked so hard to build could be challenged.

That was, until Paige met Daemon Pierce.

Mysterious, strong-willed, and breathtakingly beautiful, Daemon seemed to instantly know Paige better than she knew herself. Paige is disgusted by Daemon's reputation as a womanizer, but becomes intrigued when she is unable to discover his background. Paige's curiosity about Daemon proves to be her downfall as she is swept up in his charming and arrogant pursuit to possess her in every possible way.
For the first time in her life, Paige will struggle for control while Daemon slowly dismantles the walls she has built around herself. Only time will tell who will be victorious in their battle of wills as Daemon teaches Paige the weaknesses within herself that she never knew existed. Paige stays one step ahead in her struggle against Daemon's controlling ways, but when tragedy strikes her life a second time, she has to choose; will she put her life in danger, or will she finally accept a helping hand?

I had the honor of being one of the first to read this and work with M.S. Willis before she even published this book and it is one of the best books I have read.

I did a review on Control last month and you can go HERE to find that review and the story of how I came about reading it but for the short version of just how much I loved Control by M.S. Willis you can just keep reading here. It is pretty much the same review (I admit I copied and pasted lol) just left out the background of how I came about reading and maybe added a few things. Basically and most important it just says how much I loved the book and hope everyone will take time to buy and read it. So here you go!

After just the first page I was so into the book that I was tuning everything else out completely. I was amazed! Left speechless even. Have you ever read a book that the story was just so emotional it left your hurting but in a good way? Where you wished you could just step inside the book and be right there with the characters. I say characters but they seemed more like real people, friends even and I wanted my friendship to continue with them. It was so much better than I was told. I mean I was told it was really good that was a LIE it was amazing! I don't want to give anything away so it is hard to really tell you what all was amazing about it without spoiling it. It is a very emotional book and has some touchy subject in it. I don't want to spoil anything at all, but I will say that it has you laughing in parts, and I mean I was laughing so hard I was crying. Then crying with your heart actually aching for the characters and wanting to just step in the book and give them a great big hug. Then it has your heart racing and wondering what is going to happen next.  I knew a little more of that background on it and I was still yelling WTH and NO, NO, NO DON'T DO THAT! Ya know in the horror movies where the girl is in the house alone (or so she thinks) and you know the creepy scary guy with the ax is there and she runs UP THE STAIRS! Yea dumb how you gonna get down and away now and you are yelling at her not to go up the stairs. It had some of those feelings in there too. It's got lust, love, hot sex, smiles, and thrills. It really was an amazing book and I am SOOOOOO GLAD I READ IT! M.S. Willis is a natural story teller and I can't wait for the rest of the series. The dragonfly necklace will be explained later in the story but I know what the dragonfly symbolizes for me and it fits perfect with this story. Yes there is a little cliffhanger but it is a series so you should expect that but it is not a bad one and it's not like you will be waiting a year for the next book.

In Too Deep by Brandy L. Rivers

Brody is a talented motorcycle mechanic and werewolf stuck in his painful past. On yet another depressing night, he is viciously attacked by vampires.

Fallon is a brilliant tattoo artist with inherent magic. Tired of men and their games, she climbs onto her Harley and leaves her old life behind.

Running for his life, Brody crashes into Fallon and sparks fly. She ends up stranded in the Northwest with her ride out of commission.

Stranded with no ride and nowhere to go, Fallon allows her best friend to convince her to stay in Brody’s apartment. He’s determined to claim her heart and keep her safe from the shadows in her past. Fallon prides herself on her independence and would rather keep him safe, even from herself.

With the impending danger from the group of vampires and dark mages, they will have to work together. The closer they get, the harder it is for her to fight her attraction.

Be prepared for monsters, magic and lots of ink.

My review: 5 stars
What do you think of when you hear paranormal? Well my mind goes crazy and I immediatley think of witches, vampires, werewolves, ghosts and demons. This is a paranormal romance and it is so good. It grabbed me right from the start with the action. It has your typical werewolves and vampires but then there are Faeries, Mages, Dales and Others. The world that was created is so vivid and descriptive that you can feel and picture the places. The great thing is that Brandy put a reference guide in the back so if you come across something you aren't sure about you can go to the back and look it up but with her writing you can figure it out without it but it was still nice to be able to look in the back and get a description. This would also make it easier for someone who might not read a lot of books like this. I loved how she had all different types of paranormal characters and not just your basic vamps and wolves. I have to admit I think this is the first book I have read that had wereanimals not just wolves in it. I love the way the story plays out with Fallon and Brody. It is fast pace and full of action but you still have the strong sweet man who knows how to love. As always I don't want to spoil the storyline but this is a book that if you like love stories, paranormal beings, and hot sex then it is all in this one book. Great job Brandy Rivers and I am so glad you contacted me to read your book. I will say it is the best paranormal romance I have read in a long time can't wait for more of your work.

When Rain is going through her own personal hell, will Colton finally be able to make her see how he feels and convince her to take a chance on love?

My Review: 5 stars

I bought this book when it first came out and just had not got around to reading it. I finally had some time and decided I was going to read it. All I really new about the book was that it was suppose to be about a rock group and a girl who changes herself to get away from her perfect princess life. Ok I get that when I was a teen I didn't want to be the goody two shoe perfect little angel my parent thought I should be either and I was just a little wild but not over the top. I admit I did some crazy stupid stuff so the story line that I knew made me want to read it.

It was really good right from the start. It's one of those books that reaches out grabs you by the shoulders, shakes you a little and says DO I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION BECAUSE YOU ARE IN FOR A RIDE! Yep the emotional roller coaster ride starts right at the beginning. I won't tell you why but it does. H.B. Heinzer has a way to suck you in with her characters and the details of them that you can't help but feel what they feel. I felt like I was right there in the book with them. I was in Rain's head and feeling everything she was feeling. Heck by the time I was 5% in I was feeling like I was Rain. Yea it was that good. It wasn't just Rain's character that I got attached to it was Colton & even Jon, Travis, & Jared and Rain's family. Then Tanya sneaks in there and through me for a loop but again not going to say anymore about that. I thought the story was great and easy to relate to because I think at one point in every ones life they feel like they either want to be someone else or they feel like they are living two lives trying to please everyone. So, H.B. Heinzer if you read this great job, congratulations and I can't wait for Blessed Fate, especially after the prologue in back of this one.
