About Nowhere But Here
A Chicago reporter in her mid-twenties unexpectedly finds love in Napa Valley when she’s assigned to spend a week with a famously reclusive genius.

Kate Corbin has lost her spark. From the outside, her life seems charmed. She has a handsome, long-term boyfriend and a budding journalism career at a popular Chicago newspaper. But in reality, her relationship is going nowhere, and she’s quickly losing motivation for what she once believed was her dream job. When her boyfriend dumps her unceremoniously, Kate loses all hope of finding love.

With no living family and few friends, Kate confides in her boss. Trusting that the hungry, ace reporter is buried somewhere deep inside, he gives Kate the opportunity to jumpstart her career. The assignment: to interview the famously reclusive R.J. Lawson, a wealthy tech genius who disappeared years ago but recently reemerged as a Napa Valley vintner. The week takes an unexpected turn, however, when Lawson refuses to divulge any information. Desperate for a lead, Kate turns to Jamie, a vineyard hand who shows her the romance of wine country—and stirs her aching heart. But his connection to Lawson is ambiguous, and when Jamie disappears before the end of the week, Kate is left to investigate another story: the truth behind the man who stole her heart.

USA TODAY bestselling author Renée Carlino explored love and heartbreak in her beautifully written debut Sweet Thing, and her newest novel does not disappoint. For fans of Colleen Hoover, K.A. Tucker, and Katja Millay, Nowhere But Here is a stirring and satisfying romance that you won’t want to put down.

About Renée Carlino
Renee Carlino

Renee's first friends were the imaginary kind and even though her characters haven't gone away, thankfully the delusions have. She admits she's a wildly hopeless romantic and she blames 80's movies starring Molly Ringwald for that. She lives in Southern California with her husband, two sons, and their sweet dog June. When she's not at the beach with her boys or working on the next book, she likes to spend her time reading, going to concerts, and eating dark chocolate.

The Luminara Series by S.J. Molloy

This is a double review. That's right the first two books in the series are being reviewed. I was asked to review this series and it sounded great so I agreed.

Book #1 in the Luminara Series

An emotional erotic heart-wrenching story of lust, love and light.

File U for upside down. Lexi Robertson's carefully constructed life is about to be turned upside down.

Recently hired as Club di Energia's physiotherapist, the stunning yet insecure twenty-six year old finally thinks she has a handle on her physically and mentally damaging past. The only way Lexi can cope is by compartmentalizing her feelings with a unique, internal filing system. To maintain order, Lexi has a firm set of boundaries in place, and she never lets anyone too close.

File N for not happening. Lexi has no intention of giving in to the charming Lucca Caruso when he comes into her clinic for an emergency physiotherapy session. Despite his painstakingly handsome face and Italian that renders her speechless, Lexi is able to resist.

A Tuscany vacation with her best friend is just what Lexi needs to stop worrying about life and start enjoying it. A cooking course at a villa near the Chianti hills, just outside of Florence, will take her mind off a certain set of mesmerising azure blue eyes.

File F for fate. Lexi never expected to see the Italian god again, but they're staying at the same villa.

For someone that purposely refuses to feel, Lexi finds herself on a journey of self-discovery, helplessly folding, melting, and crumbling under the temptation of her heart's desire.

An emotional, erotic, heart-wrenching story of lust, love, and light.

Lexi struggles to confide in Lucca, slowly learning how to love and trust. Lucca is a gentle, patient lover with a heart of gold, but his need for Lexi is insatiable. He's the man we all want and can't get enough of.

Through the passion of lust and the sweetness of love, Lexi spreads her wings towards the light … until her past comes back to haunt her.

A hot and sexy story of survival, acceptance, learning to trust, and believing. One woman's destiny to find her light, and the one man who can take here there.

Welcome to the Luminara series.

Please note. Lussuria was first published in November 2013. SJ Molloy has worked on a developmental edit and republished the book. This is version two, with two extra chapters, bonus scenes and flashbacks.

 3 stars
When I read the synopsis for this one it sounded great and I couldn't wait to get in to it. I turn my kindle on and glance to see how long it says is left in the book. I thought it had to be wrong because it says 18 1/2 hours. I liked the story line and it could have been a fantastic story but it was slow to get going. I was also getting a little annoyed with Lexi. That girl needs to stop filing things. It is enough to drive me crazy! I gave it to about 20% and then I stopped. I thought maybe I need to be in a better mood. So I read a short novella and went back to it. It picked up and I got into it so I thought to myself...."man I really glad I took a break and came back". I got to 25% and it was still going good. I loved the details of the Tuscan villas and was enjoying it. Then I started getting annoyed with Lexi again. Now there is a sexy Italian god who is described as very sexy and he makes me want to keep reading. He is so sweet and caring but again Lexi is getting on my nerves and I find myself wishing Lucca would just slap her or maybe her best friend Hazel could slap her. There were several times that I thought about putting it down because it was so long and there was a lot of things that I just didn't see why they were written. So many details about unimportant things. I don't need to know what everyone is wearing. I like detail but really sometimes it just isn't neccasary to know every color of every building or what color everyone is wearing. Ok so to much detail for me and it was getting in the way of the good stuff that I had got to finally. Of course I'm talking about Lucca. Even his name is sexy so let the sex begin. the rest of the book was just a repeat of things really. They fight, they have sex, they are happy, she files, they fight, they have sexy, she files. I found my self skimming over the sex because it was they same thing and once again Lexi was getting on my nerves with her "new favorite". So the 3 stars because I did enjoy the story but I wish there had been less filing and listing. To me it took away from the story. Maybe it was me but I was ready to get to book two because I heard it was shorter and better than the first and the first wasn't bad so the second should be great and the ending had me ready to know what would happen next.

Book #2 of The Luminara Series.

This is the ultimate romantic love story. This is the most tragic love story.

A life of Love. A life with Love. His Love.

The Love ~ L’amore.

File I for intense. Lexi and Lucca’s relationship is so intense and all-consuming, they barely have time to catch their breath.
Following her passionate, whirlwind romance in Tuscany, Lexi has finally learned how to trust, finding true love and happiness with Lucca Caruso.
File E for earth-shattering. Lexi is about to experience the sexiest, earth-shattering eroticism with her insatiable Italian God, Lucca.
Lucca builds Lexi’s confidence and encourages her to lose her inhibitions with his ‘ask-get’ approach. He teaches her to ask for the desires that she lusts for, and he’s all too willing to give her his sexual gifts of the day.
They have no boundaries.
They have each other.
They live for one another.
File T for timeless. Their love transcends time. He is her always. She is his forever.
Lucca promises to love, cherish, support, and protect his dolcezza. Recent discoveries leave Lexi feeling anxious and uncertain, until Lucca indulges her in romance, adoration, and tender loving care. They plan for their future and everything appears to be getting brighter.

Until darkness prevails …
The tormentor of her dreams.
The devil in disguise.
The uprising of Michael Parks.

Michael has unfinished business, and his resurrection will rewrite Lexi and Lucca’s destiny forever. He wants revenge and will stop at nothing until he has it. Dark black was the colour of her life … and is the colour of her afterlife.
Alexis Evangeline Robertson is going straight to Hell.

After the desires of lust …

And the sweetness of love …

And the flicker of light …

Fate has brought Lucca and Lexi together. Can fate take L’amore away.

 2 stars
So on to book 2 and I am ready for it to pick up were book 1 left off. WHAT!?!?!? Wait did I miss something? That was my first thought. Next thought well I'll just keep going and see if it starts to make sence.

It didn't pick up exactly were it left off but it made since as I went on. Again most of the book was the same file, fight, make up sex, talk, and repeat.

It did have a little conflict and it was ok in most parts but again I found myself skimming over a lot of sex scence. I couldn't believe I was thinking a book had to much sex in it and every time it seemed like Lexi had a new favorite sex type. Pool sex, stair sex, wall sex, you get the idea. Just annoying to me and again the sex took away from the sweet love story. It was still pretty long which is fine if you have a good story going but I just felt like I was reading a list of words and I came close several times to FILE UNDER D for Do Not Finish BUT I pushed through hoping that it would get better. I did finish it and it had some parts but honestly most of the book I was just reading it to get through it and it was ok but if I had not been reviewing for it I think I would have not finished it. I am still deciding on if I want to read the next book.

It was ok but I am not in a rush to see what happens with the rest of the story.

 5 shining stars
Well, this is a fantastic book and a great finish to the series. I have absolutly loved learning about Laurel and Garrett and watching their relationship grow. I love how Cynthia can describe things without going to overboard on it. She brings emotion to you that you can feel flowing from the pages. I love that with each book she built on the relationship so you felt like you were learning and growing with the characters. This couple has been through a ton of trials and they just keep fighting. Is there any thing I don't love about this book? Well.... yes but just that it is the end to the wonderful love story of Garrett and Laurel and I feel like I am saying goodbye to friends. Both Garrett and Laurel were a little messed up from their pasts but they worked through all of it with each other but is that enough to get them to the alter? Will their love for each other really concur all? It is a great read and you will have to read it to find out.

In this book we learn a lot more about Garrett and his past and we get to the love that Laurel has for her family. There was thrills, chills, and romance all through it. I was finished with the book before I was ready. I just wanted it to keep going it was so great. If you have read the other two books in the series then you definatly want to see how it ends. If you haven't then you need to go grab all three books and have a exciting weekend (or week) with Garrett. He is a very sexy alpha male that knows how to show a woman that she is loved.

Can't wait to see what Cynthia has in store for us next but what ever she has I know it will be great.

Laurel seemed to breathe a sigh of relief as soon as we were inside the penthouse. She looked amazing in her dress. I couldn’t keep my hands off of her bare back in the ballroom and her exposed leg in the car. She was the one thing that calmed me and I desired her more than anything else in my life, but I wouldn’t press, given the day we’ve had.
“Would you like to take a bath together or would you rather us turn in for the night?” I asked as I led her up to our bedroom.
She laid her purse on the nightstand by our bed, then turned towards me, wrapped her arms around my neck, and whispered so close to my lips, that I could feel her breath across my face,  “A soak would be nice, but right now I just want to get out of this dress, feel the warmth of your skin pressed hard against mine, and let the night take us where it may.”
Damn, my woman knew how to turn me on in a heartbeat. I was already at semi attention, but now she had me rock hard and wanting out of my clothes as quickly as possible.
I wasted no time in stripping myself bare. Her eyes grew big as she realized the power her words had over me.
Now it was her turn.  My hands found the side zipper of her dress as my tongue grazed up her neck to the back of her ear, where I sucked on her skin. “Do you have any idea how desirable you looked in this dress tonight?”
I bit her lightly as she moaned, “No.”
I grabbed her hand and moved it down to my cock. “You feel how much I want you?” Her fingers circled round me as I shoved into her hand.

Cover Model Interview with

To start with here are a few pics from James' facebook page. You can get to it by clicking on his name above. If you don't already head over and show him some love and like his page.

Very nice right? Now for the interview. I know you want to get to know him a little better right?
First I want to thank you, James for taking the time to do this interview and letting us all get to know you a little better. Now on to the Q&A

ISwaB: We will start you off with an easy one. Who are you and what are your details? (Ya know the basics, name, height, eye color.)
James: Hello! I'm James D. Magnussen, 6'4, dreamy blue eyes and long blond hair.

ISwaB: Do you have a job besides modeling or are you a full time model?
James: I keep myself pretty busy between doing contract work in the health care field while piloting an online business and modeling on the side.

ISwaB: Are you single or taken?
James: Taken

ISwaB: How did you come to be the cover model for Cynthia’s book?
James: Through Facebook, I believe.

ISwaB: Are there any other books you are on the cover of?
James: Yes, I'm on the cover of The Last Kiss by Mr Murphy, Finding Sovereignty by Kris Tualla, the Charred Hearts series by Lizzy Ford and Moon Stone by Olivia Stocum and several others in the near future.

ISwaB: Have you gone to signings or will you if you haven’t? If you will are there any that you have scheduled to be at in the future?
James: Yes, I've been apart of the Arizona Dreaming readers convention 2 years running now and I've also done several other signing appearances for Kris Tualla over the last couple years. I really enjoy doing all the in person stuff, this community is full of so many awesome people.

ISwaB: How do you feel about knowing that women think of you as a book boyfriend and                       possibly dream about you nightly?
James: LOL it's really surreal but also very flattering. My mind has a hard time grasping it.

ISwaB: What is your ideal date?
James: I don't really have an ideal date, I like spontaneity. It's fun to be in the moment and decide what's going to be the most fun for the both of us by harnessing the mood we are in!

ISwaB: What is your perfect woman?
James: The perfect woman is one that is easygoing and honest with a genuine demeanor. She's full of adventure, spunk and is fearless. A woman that's not afraid to speak her mind and has the resolve to compromise when met with conflicting opinions. The kind of woman who complements me, yet doesn't necessarily complete me. A woman who possesses deep, soulful eyes that captivate me. A woman that loves to snuggle lovingly in my arms all night. It's hard to truly nail down what makes a perfect woman but these are some of the qualities that immediately come to mind when I think of this question.

ISwaB: That answer above just made me swoon right there. What about you ladies?

ISwaB: Have you read Cynthia’s book so you know a little about her character Garrett? If so do you think you are like him in anyway?
James: I have not yet read the books but I will when I get the book!!!

My Demon Trilogy Promo

The Demon Trilogy

Blog Site:

Seraphina Orielle, an angel of divine fire and light, was also an oracle of foresight. Considered adolescent among her peers, she had yet to master her gift of precognition when her first vision came to pass; a captivating male whose destiny was intimately intertwined with her own. Yet he was not of angelic design. In fact, he was very far from it. Tragically, by the time Sera discovered this pivotal detail, he had already attained ownership of her heart.
But not her ability to flee…
A hundred years later and Cole Asteroth does whatever the hell he wants. When he’s not busy, that is, with ‘dirty deeds, done dirt cheap’ for his master. Ornery and sarcastic, he gets his kicks wreaking havoc in the human realm. Oh, and making very un-angelic women beg for his touch. Life is good…
Until fate finally catches up with him.
A few weak moments, one too many innocent visitations and the two are entangled all over again. But not as they had been before; things are much more complicated now. And Cole no longer possesses much in the way of faith and forgiveness.
As the estranged lovers struggle with what path to take, they quickly discover that destiny, too, is a reluctant second chance provider. As outside resistance and decadent captivity ensues, can their situation get any more exasperating?

Never did Seraphina foresee herself taking refuge in the underworld. Cole, however, should have. Sera’s kin would never let her go and this was the one place their holier-than-thou feet couldn’t tread. Unfortunately, residing in a realm of vile depravity only adds to his problems. Now he must keep
Sera safe from not only her kind, but his as well. Even Cole’s demon is more volatile from the subjection to incessant evil.
When the opportunity arises to solve their dilemma, he jumps at it with claws swinging. But it’s a dangerous mission - and Sera’s riding shotgun. As deadly adventures unfold and all hope seems lost, Cole is forced to search inside himself. With a soul that’s riddled with more questions than answers, can he find the lifeline they need?

Just when Sera and Cole thought they were finally on the home stretch, their happily-ever-after just within reach, an unforeseen obstacle rears its ugly fangs. Each blindsided with their own brand of torture, they’re forced to discover what they’re truly made of. With new factions emerging, complicating their already problematic circumstances, heartbreaking sacrifices and startling revelations are made, even as intense confrontations hike the tension higher. As they battle for each other—and their very immortal lives—the conclusion to their love story becomes one of legends. Don’t miss the fiery finish to this forbidden couple’s tale of epic devotion.

Target This Release Blitz

I’m not sure what I was thinking that day.

It was a normal Thursday, nothing new or exciting had occurred in the morning.

I’d risen from bed, taken a shower and brushed my teeth. I’d then jumped on the 8:05 bus that ran a short distance between my house and the county library where I worked.

The ride took its usual 15 minutes before it left me standing fresh faced in front of a building of gothic construction that was my favorite place in the world.

After straightening my knee length skirt, I pushed open the door that led into the interior of the library.

It was at that moment that my world would change – impossibly and forever. It was a fateful movement of wood that collided with the shoulder of a man that would alter my very existence.

It wasn’t fear that I felt at that moment – more like the feeling of being watched. It was the feeling of knowing that danger lurks - the sensation of the hair standing on end at the back of your neck.

Looking back on a moment that happened so many months ago, I now realize that I should have listened to that feeling.

As I would later find out, the man standing in front of me referred to himself as Master Lucas…

…and I was his next target.

 4 stars
OK so first things first this is the first book of Lily White's that I have read. I had heard GREAT things about her and wonderful things about her writing. I was looking forward to reading this and seeing if she was as great as everyone was saying. I had been told that it was a dark read and that I would be surprised by the twist and turns in the story. So, it was time for me to curl up and read and I was ready to climb into the darkness and have my mind blown. So why the 4 stars? Well, I loved the story line and the characters were good. I admit I was not the biggest fan of the dear sweet librarian, Autumn. I kind of wanted to slap her and put duct tape on her mouth. She just annoyed me with her prim and proper self. I can't say to much about her or I will spoil it but she did get better as the story when on and I would be willing to leave the duct tape off her mouth towards the end but I still wanted to knock her upside the head. Lucas was a very interesting character and there were times I was in love with him and then times that I wanted to hide in a corner. I kept thinking he is crazy and needs some meds then he would be sweet and my heart would melt. Well done on that character, Lily. Then there were the other characters like the best friend who seemed a little crazy to me, the assistant to Lucas, and the detective. Again I don't want to say to much about them but they need to be mentioned and you can see what you think of them after you read it.
It was a good story and I enjoyed it BUT. There is always a but isn't there? It was not as dark as I had thought it would be and the twists and turns didn't shock me as much as I had thought. I actually wasn't shocked at all and that mad me a little sad. I was also left with a few questions but nothing to major just my curious mind wanting more on the characters. Over all it was a good read and I would recommend that you grab a copy and read it if you like a little mind play and don't care if there is a little mind games going on and want an erotic story.

Hands ran along the length of my body, fingers burning trails over my delicate skin. My back arched, the tips of my breasts coming alive beneath the material of my shirt. His mouth was hot and heavy pressed against my stomach, the heat of his breath against me, forcing my own air from my lungs.
“Oh God.”
My legs fall apart and his hand slides down over my panties, the muscles of my core rippling inside me, desperate to be filled. With his thumb rolling over my clit, he slips the length of his middle finger down, pushing against my opening to drench the cloth between our skin.
His head moves away from me suddenly, his formidable size moving to cover mine, his mouth hot and wet as he kisses along my neck. Every part of my body is hypersensitive to his touch, sparking and alive, the smallest brush against me sending waves of anticipation and need rolling along my spine. In a move of dominance, of ownership, his large hand grips my breast, rolling the tip between his fingers before taking it into his mouth.
“Please…” I beg. He always moves slowly, teasing my body into such a frenzied storm that every soft touch becomes unbearable. Never giving me control, never surrendering to a need as powerful as the one he builds in me, he takes his time savoring the driving bite of my desire.
My lips are overtaken, his teeth nipping at my lower lip before he fills my mouth with his taste, his kiss. Whimpers escape me as he pulls away, slowing down his attack, allowing my boiling blood to simmer once more.
A finger over my swollen lips, his mouth against my ear. “Shhhhhhh…you have no power in this. You’re exposed and susceptible to my complete control. Your hands are bound where I tied them, your mouth can be silenced anytime I wish. If I want pain, you’ll experience pain; and once I have you screaming, it’ll only be a moment before you’re once again singing my name.”

Lily White is a dark writer who likes to dabble on the taboo side of eroticism.  Most of the time she can be found wandering around aimlessly while her mind is stuck in some twisted power play between two characters in her head. You may recognize her in public by the confused expression, random mumbling, and occasional giggle while thinking up a scene. Lily’s favorite things in life are reading, thinking about reading, buying books for reading….and writing. Her other secret pleasure is meeting with her plot editor in public to discuss her books and watching the shocked expressions of the people around her that don’t realize she’s talking about a book.  When Lily is not reading, writing, wandering or freaking out innocent bystanders, she’s sleeping.
