Hard Roads by Lily White Release Blitz

This life isn’t one that I chose for myself.

Years spent as a daughter in the Dominion MC left me washed up and struggling to breathe. Life was never flowers and sunshine. It was gravel and dust, the trails of dirt left behind when the brothers tore out, floating up from the ground to hover in front of an angry, red sun.

I could never have imagined that a life sitting at rock bottom could get any worse, but it did.

Life is funny like that.

Just when you think things can’t get any more bleak, a shade is drawn leaving you staggering and blind – lost in a world of heartache and sorrow.

I met J.D. Brooks on the road and he swept me off my feet. Literally. But not in the way you might think.

He was both an angel and a demon.

He was the most vicious storm that ever darkened my life.

He was also my salvation.

Stripped from the hands that always held me back, I was released into a nightmare that would threaten everything I thought I knew about the crap hand I’d been dealt.

I thought I could never hate a man more than the one who stole me from the life I’d known.

And in our time together, he would teach me one important lesson:

That in the end, it doesn’t matter how our paths intersect, because when it comes down to the basic truth of our lives...

...we’re all stuck traveling down hard roads.

 5+ stars
WOW!!! Maybe the best MC novel I've read. I'm almost speechless. I started out a little nervous about reading this one because let's face it, Lily is a little scary with things she comes up with. I was excited to see were her mind would take me but nervous as hell to be scared to go to sleep for fear of dreaming about the pictures she creates in her books. My first thought was that the dark side wasn't to bad and maybe Lily was going to be calm on this one. WHAT WAS I THINKING DO I NOT KNOW LILY AT ALL!!! That's funny I just had not got to the dark part yet. This is Lily White what was I thinking. I actually had to put this down a few times because I felt sick thinking about what was happening but I was so intrigued that I couldn't stop for long. Seriously I thought I was going to toss my lunch but couldn't stand the thought of not finding out what was going to happen. It was such a rollercoaster. I was happy and wishful one minute and the next I was disgusted and nauseous and then sad and heart broken the next. If you can handle the violence then it is a great story AND it shocked the hell out of me at one point but I'm not saying when. This is my favorite Lily White novel yet. I think I say that after everyone but really this was not your typical MC novel and it was just so good. The writing is great, the characters are wonderful, the flow is amazing, and I just can't say enough about it. Do I recommend it to anyone? Hell yes! If you like Lily White's other books then this one is a MUST READ NOW for you. Will I read it again? You bet I will! Fantastic job on this one Lily and I can wait to see were your mind will take us next.

My Demon Trilogy by Alicia Dawn & Nikita Jakz

Overall Rating for series 3.5 stars

Seraphina Orielle, an angel of divine fire and light, was also an oracle of foresight. Considered adolescent among her peers, she had yet to master her gift of precognition when her first vision came to pass; a captivating male whose destiny was intimately intertwined with her own. Yet he was not of angelic design. In fact, he was very far from it. Tragically, by the time Sera discovered this pivotal detail, he had already attained ownership of her heart.
But not her ability to flee…
A hundred years later and Cole Asteroth does whatever the hell he wants. When he’s not busy, that is, with ‘dirty deeds, done dirt cheap’ for his master. Ornery and sarcastic, he gets his kicks wreaking havoc in the human realm. Oh, and making very un-angelic women beg for his touch. Life is good…
Until fate catches up with him.
A few weak moments, one too many innocent visitations and the two are entangled all over again. But things are much more complicated now. And Cole no longer possesses much in the way of faith and forgiveness.
As the estranged lovers struggle with what path to take, they quickly discover that destiny, too, is a reluctant second chance provider. As outside resistance and decadent captivity ensues, can their situation get any more exasperating?

3.5 stars

This is about two people that are very different, one a demon and one an angel. Sera is an innocent angel with a little naughty side and Cole is a sweet demon who is not all bad. Sera believes in soulmates and knows she has found hers in Cole.  Then Cole reveals his true self and Sera leaves him when she finds out he is a demon. Time and distance doesn't stop the feelings they have for each other. It was a pretty good book but I found it to be slow in parts. I would get into it and then it would just fall and I found myself pushing through to hopefully get to another good part. It was back and forth for the whole book and ended with me wanting to know what would happen. Will their love be able to survive? How can an angel love a demon? Will Sera be forced to go back home? This is what this story is all about. I will be reading the next book and am hoping it is better and will pick up and keep my interest better through the entire book.

Barns & Noble:

“Into the bowels of hell I would follow you.”
“Good because that's exactly where we’re going.”
Never in her wildest nightmares did Seraphina see herself taking refuge in the underworld. Cole, however, should have seen it coming. Sera’s kin would never let her go and that was the one place their holier-than-thou feet couldn’t tread. Unfortunately, residing in a realm where the vilest of depravity thrives only adds to Cole’s problems. Now he must keep Sera safe from not only her kind, but his debauched brethren as well. Even Cole’s demon-half has become more volatile, the constant subjection to evil taking its toll. His world is no place for an angel. He needs to find a solution so he can get her the hell out of there.
And he needs to find it fast.
When the opportunity arises to finally solve their dilemma, he jumps at it with talon-claws swinging. But it’s a dangerous mission - and Sera’s riding shotgun. As deadly adventures unfold and all hope seems lost, Cole is forced to search inside himself. With a soul that’s riddled with more questions than answers, can he find the lifeline they need?

3.5 stars

This is book two and it starts off where book one left off. Cole and Sera are in love and want to be together but the other angels want Sera to come home and are hunting for her. Cole takes her to the one place the other angels will not go. HELL!!!! It is sweet that Cole will do anything for Sera and I really like him. Sera on the other hand, kind of annoys me. I’m not sure if her innocents is funny or just annoying. I did like this book and enjoyed it. It also seemed a lot shorter than the first even though it wasn’t much shorter (maybe 5 pages) and I think it was because it followed a little better. There was still a few slow parts but not as long as the ones in the first book. Also this one was a little sexier.

Barns & Noble:

Just when Sera and Cole thought they were finally on the home stretch, their happily-ever-after just within reach, an unforeseen obstacle rears its ugly fangs. Each blindsided with their own brand of torture, they’re forced to discover what they’re truly made of. With new factions emerging, complicating their already problematic circumstances, heartbreaking sacrifices and startling revelations are made, even as intense confrontations hike the tension higher. As they battle for each other—and their very immortal lives—the conclusion to their love story becomes one of legends. Don’t miss the fiery finish to this forbidden couple’s tale of epic devotion

 4 stars
This is the third and final book in the series. I liked this book and I liked the series ok. It seemed like this poor couple was going to have all the bad luck and just drag on before they got a moments peace. I did finally start to like Sera a little more because she seemed a little stronger and less whiney. Maybe it was that she wasn’t so innocent too. This one also had a lot more excitement in it and that made for a good story along with the sexier side of Cole and Sera. Defiantly happy with how it ended.

Under Contract Blog tour by Jacquelyn Ayres

Book: Under Contract

Author: Jacquelyn Ayres

Genre: Erotic Romance/Erotic Humor

Charlotte McKendrick is your typical thirty-something stay-at-home mom. She has three beautiful children, a loving family, special friends, and the most wonderful, adoring husband. Her life is a dream.

Er . . . let’s try this again.

Charlotte McKendrick is not your typical thirty-something stay-at-home mom. Yes, she’s got three beautiful children, a loving family (all of them lingerers—you’ll see), and her friends are special, all right! As far as her wonderful, adoring husband, what a joke! That bastard abandoned her and the kids six months ago.

Now, she will do anything she can to survive and provide for her children. Even if it means signing on the dotted line . . .

Mitch Colton is the CEO of Colton Technologies. Most of his year is spent traveling around the world, bringing companies the latest innovations in automobile technology. He doesn’t have time for a traditional relationship and the BS that comes with it. He doesn’t do the “marriage” thing, the “kid” thing, and he certainly doesn’t do the “falling in love” thing. All that said, he still wants someone to come home to. Someone who will offer everything he wants, and nothing he doesn’t. He realizes loyalty paired with these kinds of demands won’t come cheap. No problem. What he doesn’t realize is that once Charlotte McKendrick signs that dotted line, he’ll be paying with a lot more than money.

 5 sexy stars
First off let me just say... I love the synopsis. My first thought on the first paragraph was  ok then I got to the "Er... let's try this again" I cracked up and wanted to read Under Contract just from that. I finished reading the synopsis and thought ok sounds good and I jumped in. It was a fresh read for me. I don't think I have read anything like this.
Now on to the characters well lets start with the one no one will like. The ex husband was well... an ass and needs to be beat upside the head. You'll see what I mean as you read it. Then there is the main female led and I loved her from the start. Charlotte was a strong woman and ready to take control of her life and do anything for her kids. What loving mother wouldn't? Then there was the lead male character, Mitch. He was sexy, controlling, rich, and needed some help to learn that it is ok to fall in love. At first I didn't really like him but it only took a few minutes to fall in love with him and want to know what his story was. I have to admit it did surprise me a little. Just a little. Then there are all the side characters in the family that just made the story.
This was a great story that was funny, sexy, and a little sad too. It had me pulled in and wanting to know what was going to happen next and just when you think things are going good something pops up and you are rooting for them to make it work. Great story and the GEG Series lets me know there is more to come and I can't wait to see what happens in the next book.

I am a domestic engineer (born and raised in NJ) whose sole responsibility is to guide three young, impressionable kids into becoming phenomenal adults. This challenging yet rewarding work requires a lot of love (coffee), patience (wine), and determination (periodic exorcisms). I work this magic from the beautiful state of New Hampshire.

Before becoming a domestic goddess (not really), I spent over a decade in the medical field, where I wore more hats than the Queen.

I have loved the written word and the great escape it provides since I was a little girl. When I wasn't reading about people and the places they lived, I was creating my own characters and adventures.

Finding myself again through my writing in The Lost & Found Series, The One, and The GEG Series has been nothing short of a dream come true. Also, it makes people feel better when I laugh randomly or talk to myself, knowing it's my characters and not "the voices" . . . that would be creepy.

Sinfully by Leighton Riley Blog tour

Title: Sinfully
Author: Leighton Riley
Release Date: June 8, 2014
Find on

She played the game by her own rules...until he changed them...

Payton wrote a self-published book regaling her encounters with men while visiting Las Vegas. To her horror, life changes in more ways than one when someone finds out her true identity.
Ryder, a successful publisher, is determined to find and sign Reece Edwards. Using what little information he can find on her, he sets out to find her, feeling it will definitely be worth the chase.
While on his search for Reece, Ryder meets Payton and the chemistry is explosive. Payton has done well with not allowing anyone to get close to her, but something is different with Ryder. Ryder can’t get Payton out of his head, but he is still on his mission to locate Reece.
With two tragic pasts, Payton and Ryder each have demons to overcome. Will they be able to put those demons to rest or will it be all for nothing?

 4 sinful stars

Let's start with the sexy male lead who loves books. You heard right! The lead male is a sexy man who is a successful publisher looking for new authors. Ryder just doesn't know how to find the one author he wants. Does he want her for her writing or because he wants to see if she is really like what she writes. I loved him from the start. He was fun but a little mysterious too. You knew he was hiding a secret as to why he was the way he was but you just had to keep reading to figure it out. The female lead was just as good as the male lead. She was independant and strong when she was being Reece, the erotic writer who wrote about her time with guys she meets in Vegas. When she was being Payton she was still independant but she hid part of herself from everyone. So who is the real side? Payton or Reece? Can't forget to mention the best friends because everyone needs that special friend that is there for them and Payton and Ryder have some pretty great friends that help bring the story together. This isn't just a book full of sex and love. There is a twist and although I figured out the twist before the end it still kept my attention and I enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to reading the next book from the little sneak peek at the end. It was a good read and you should grab a copy.

I hadn’t felt so alone in a while. Vegas was usually the place where I felt at peace and didn’t have to deal with any of the bullshit that had occurred over past twenty-four hours. I took the hottest shower I could stand to wipe myself clean of the day, followed by a luxurious bubble bath while I drank the bottle of Moscato I had bought to be shared with someone other than myself. I submerged myself under the water, holding my breath for as long as I could while I floated back to the top. It felt liberating being able to only hear the roar of the water, without noises from the real world getting through. I must have repeated the process six or seven times until it lost its fun. I didn’t want to go home and I didn’t want to stay there. Both places reminded me of Ryder. I can’t believe he ruined Vegas for me. I had no idea where I would go the next day.

After the water started to turn lukewarm, I hopped out and air dried as I packed my bags. It felt nice to walk around my room, feeling the air against my cool skin. I was high enough that no one would see me when I walked close to the windows and the feeling of possibly being seen was highly erotic. I was packing my heels in my bag when there was a weak knock at the door. Turning suddenly, I had to wonder if it was meant for my door or maybe I was hearing someone knock next door.

I threw on a t-shirt and thong and stepped closer to the door. Just as I got on my tippy toes to see through the peep hole, I heard and felt another knock. Looking through the hole, I saw Tate walking away from my door. I opened the door without another thought and followed him, tapping on his shoulder.

Tate stopped, turned toward me, and then looked back at my door. “Were you planning on going back out like that?” He had a hint of amusement in his eyes.

“No, I heard you knock and threw the first thing I saw on to see who it was.”

“So you weren’t dressed?” His smile was full force.

“I was just packing to leave and hadn’t decided what to wear for the rest of the night. Why aren’t you with whore-face?” I didn’t need to tell him I wasn’t sure when I was leaving or where I was going. I hadn’t quite figured it out.

“Ahh, the more important question is how you’re going to get back in your room, doll. Seeing you strut downstairs to the front desk with your tight little ass peeking out from under your very thin t-shirt might gather even more looks than you and Tyler got on the casino floor earlier. You do know he’s getting married tomorrow, right?”

1. I’m 24 and Texas born and raised (not fun per se, but mandatory, right?)

2. I will see any movie with Adam Sandler or Channing Tatum in them

3. I can’t drive with shoes on (I’ve had 8 ankle surgeries on my driving foot)

4. I plan out my books while I drive to work normally

5. I have the most random taste in music ranging from Alanis Morissette to Rob Zombie to Luke Bryan to Metric

6. I’ve been on over 600 flights in my lifetime

7. I’m scared of fire and have never ever lit a match or lighter

8. Apparently, I talk really fast

9. My favorite drink is Sweet Tea (not bottled, the real stuff)

10. I love chocolate and peanut butter

11. I don’t snore, but I talk in my sleep

12. I always bake cookies for road trips... a lot of them

13. I HATE beer

14. Brisket tacos are the shit

15. I’m tempted to move to Austin just so I can go to Gourdoughs whenever I want

16. I get excited when hurricanes form (I know, it’s horrible and feel for everyone who lives on the coastlines, but ever since I was little, I was always cheering them on to get bigger)

17. I would be an awesome getaway driver if you were to rob a bank or egg your boyfriends car

18. I say “y’all” and am proud of it

19. Bailey in Sinfully is modeled after my niece who still asks for the “Talk Dirty Tummy” song

20. I have the best PA in the world ;)

Texas born and raised, I found my love for dirty books rather recently. I work in real estate for my normal job and I write contemporary romance. I love sweet tea (made right!), cookie cake, and anything with chocolate and peanut butter.

I have a few guys at my gym that are my TDF’s (tall, dark, and fuckable) but also have a HSB (Hot Sauna Boy), because let’s be honest, they’re my motivation while I’m there! I go to Las Vegas often but I swear I don’t have as much fun as Payton does. Although, if I found myself a Tate there, I might change my opinion!

Authors such as Katy Evans, SE Hall, Angela Graham, Jasinda Wilder, and Jillian Dodd have been a large influence on me and I’m forever grateful. I decided to write Sinfully on Black Friday in November 2013, on a whim. I thought I’d get bored after a few pages but was captivated by the characters and it developed into something I am truly proud of. Sinfully will be the first of three in its series, but they will be able to be read separately if desired.

When it comes to book boyfriends, I love those who are strong but with a little imperfection or tragedy in their past (Remy, Kellan, Q, Twitch are just a few of my favorites). I LOVE talking to my readers so feel free to message me on Facebook. ♥
