White Sheets & Rosy Cheeks by Katie Mettner Blog Tour

Blurb:

Dr. Salvador Brennan left the earth a lonely and regretful man. Given a chance to right his wrongs, he returns to Bearsfield, Wisconsin, to manipulate two broken hearts into the greatest love story of all time, from beyond the grave.

The first step is convincing his nephew, Eli Sheets, to leave his life in Michigan and move to a tiny town in Wisconsin. Having put the plan in motion before he died, he bequeathed his rundown house to Eli, with the hope that time had healed his wounds. Eli and his three-year-old daughter, Molly, arrive on a late spring afternoon, and Uncle Sal wonders if Eli sees the peeling paint and sagging porch as a way to put the past behind him. When Eli meets his next-door neighbor, Diana Forrester, does he catch a glimpse of his future?

Initiate Operation Molly.

‘Ghostie’ befriends Molly, and together they teach Eli and Diana that the yellow brick road is paved with acceptance and forgiveness. Waiting at the end of the road is a love that will heal their broken hearts, and bring them together, forever.

White Sheets & Rosy Cheeks Book Trailer

  5+ spooktacular Stars
When I started this one I didn't know what to think really. It was an author I had never read before but had heard good things about so I thought "why not?" I was looking for something different and this was beyond enjoyable. This was the start of a wonderful journey in to the mind of Katie Mettner. I fell in love with her writing and her characters and had to know if all of her books were like this or if it was just this one.
With this one story she had me wanting to read every one of her books. This was a sweet story about a single father who inherited a house in a small town. I fell in love with Eli right from the start. I mean who wouldn't love a single dad who will do anything for his little girl. He was sweet, handsome, and very sexy. Molly sure was cute and melted your heart with her best friend (who no one could see) named Ghostie. With Diana there to help Eli & Molly settle in the story just takes off.  Diana was a sweet lady who had a rough life and thanks to her ex didn't trust easy. So much I want to say but just can't because it will spoil the story for you. If you like sweet romance, small towns, characters that make you laugh, love, and want to be a better person, then this is for you. The whole story was sweet but it had just enough thrill to keep you pulled in and wanting to know what was going to happen next. It had me laughing, crying, and wanting to pack up and move into the pages of the book to be a part of this special life. Plus you were trying to find the answers that Eli was looking for right along with him.
If you have read Katie Mettner books before then you know that she brings attention to characters who are special. They touch your heart with their personality and there is always that character who has a special challenge and that is what really pulled me in to her writing. If you haven't read any of her books your TBR list will grow a lot. I know mine did. This is the book that got me hooked on Katie Mettner and since I read this I have enjoyed several others of hers.

About The Author

Katie Mettner writes inspirational and romantic suspense from a little house in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. She's the author of the four part epic family saga, The Sugar Series, The Northern Lights Series, the Snowberry Holiday Series, Kupid’s Cove Series and The Magnificent Series. All of her books are written against the beautiful backdrop of the Midwest and are a mix of new adult romance, romance, and romantic suspense.

Katie lives with her soulmate, whom she met online at Thanksgiving and married in April. Together they share their lives with their three children and two leopard geckos. After suffering an especially bad spill on the bunny hill in 1989, Katie became an amputee in 2011, giving her the much needed time to pen her first novel, Sugar's Dance. With the release of Sugar's story, Katie discovered the unfilled need for disabled heroes and heroines! Her stories are about empowering people with special circumstances to find the one person who will love them because of their abilities, not their inabilities. Katie has a slight addiction to Twitter and blogging, with a lessening aversion to Pinterest now that she quit trying to make the things she pinned.
